First Post

Well, this is my first post as a "blogger." I must say, the inspiration for this blog comes from reading ( flipthiswholesaler.blogspot.com ) who is another member of the flipping home's community. Steph is a great example of a new investor who has gone through the trenches and is starting to see a better day, someone who I look upto, she is truly dedicated to her success!

That said, my main focus at the moment is short sales. I purchased the SSI course about a month ago, I start the marketing and for the first time my phone started ringing. I remember the first phone call I got as an investor was from a not so pleasant lady who was impossible to work with, but the point was I got the phone call!

Since then I have had a few more phone calls and have had 1 home meeting.

This gets me up to this point..

Today, I spoke to a few people on the phone, one guy wants to stay in the house so it's not really a deal, he was looking for someone to help catch up on the payments. Then another lady called me back after playing phone tag a little bit I finally caught up, we are going to be meeting up on Saturday. She owes 79k on a house whhose value is about 60k, so it is a good SS contender, but you never really know until you get all the paperwork to see whats going on.

On friday, I have a meeting with a lady who is in a crazy predicament. She owes about 90k on the house whose value is about the same. So we will go from there.

Also, I'm interested in experimenting with REO's i have steve's wholesale to quick cash course, i may go through it again..short sales take a long time to complete, i need cash now! :)
