Ring, Ring, Ring..

FINALLY! My phone rang again! Sheesh, I was really starting to wonder what the point of marketing was! I hadn't received a call in over week that related to my short sale biz. I got 4 Calls so far today (well more but 1 lady called a ton of times). Nothing really worth while, actually i take that back because one guy I never really connected with, he left a message, i called back no answer.. but the people I did talk too, nothing really that will work. The lady that called a bunch of times just wanted me to tell her that she's a renter, oops! But I got the owners info, so I'll give him a call.. it will be a cold call but we'll see. One lady had about 125k in equity, but didn't know what to do, I told her she's better off selling the house! She is back 40 grand in payments over the course of 7 months, that's insane...but anyway, yea she also has a huge savings account.. I told her that the bank won't want to do a short sale if they see she has 100 grand in the bank, clearly she could afford to catch up. Anyway..

I met up with the buyer I've been in correspondence via email with today. He was a really cool guy, he buys at least 2 a week but would love to buy more if he had the deals. I didn't get the leads, he has them in digital format, he said that he will give them to me this weekend, he invited me to his house and hang out and talk business. But he said if I can bring him a house that's 65cents minus repairs that he will buy it from me. SWEET

We chatted for about almost 2 hours, I asked him if you could tell me anything, as words of advice goes what would it be. His response was:

"Gee, there are tons" but what he did say was , "Stick with it, I don't care if you don't close a deal for 6 months. Real Estate works, I see a lot of people give up, but the ones that don't are enjoying the fruits of their labor, be persistent and you will be rewarded, and will be able to live the lifestyle that you want to live, not one that you're forced to live."

99% of all successful investors say the same thing, so you KNOW those are words to live by.. don't give up.

It reminds be the story of the Chinese bamboo tree, I'll save that for another blog entry.

ANYWAY, i do get off topic all the time!

I got some calls today! NICE, mission objective completed!

I also went to the court house, got more leads as well as the paper work for a DBA

Tomorrow I will be sending out another 100flyers + the leads I got today.. so tonight will be a great nice printing, folding and stamping mailers! joy!! :)
